The Fitzroy Football Club incorporating the Fitzroy Red board, members and players send our sincere condolences to the family of the great Norm Brown who has passed away at the age of 79.

A tremendous big-hearted ruckman who won three consecutive FFC Best and Fairest awards 1965-67 and played 181 games for the club.

He gave his all for our club throughout the 1960s when the team had very little on-field success and was much loved by all fans.

Norm is a member of the Fitzroy Team of the Century and represented Victoria eight times.

He is, and will remain, a Fitzroy legend.
