The Fitzroy teams took to the track for the first time last week and a full schedule of pre-season preparations has been coordinated by the coaches and
football department.
All teams will head to Portsea for the pre-season camp over the second weekend in February, which will put everyone through their paces from a
fitness perspective.
Several pre-season games have also been locked in too, so if you want to see some of the early season form, pop some of these dates in your diary.
Having appointed Nick Mitchell and Bernie Carter to the Senior coaching positions late last year, the Fitzroy Board has confirmed the reappointment
of Sam Buckley as Reserves Coach.
In its first meeting for the year, the Fitzroy Board also approved the appointment of Trent Coleman to the position of Thirds Coach, following
a baptism by fire as part of the unofficial coaching trio who managed the Thirds team last year. Trent was presented with the Thirds Coachs Award
at the Redlow last year for his efforts with the team in 2016, despite an early season injury, and will do a great job in his new role.
The club is still seeking a Womens Senior Coach and a Football Director.
