One of the first off the mark to sign up to our new Business memberships will be a familiar face to many Fitzroy people.

Mike Wallis (aka Wal) played U19 and Reserves football for Fitzroy FC when the team was playing in the AFL. He later returned to the Club for a three-year stint as the Assistant Senior Coach from 2008-10, working with James and Simon Taylor.

Wal was quick off the mark to sign up for a new Fitzroy Business membership as part of a strategy to increase awareness of his brand new business, Aspect Underwriting, based in Collingwood.

Ive been a long-time supporter of the club and the new business membership seemed to make great sense for a supporter who also wishes to promote their business.

Being a local business with very strong ties to the club, I hope other people connected with the club will not only become aware of Aspect Underwriting but will get in touch and one day become our clients,Wal said.

Aspect Underwriting started in October 2016 and is an insurance advice and placement business offering; specialist underwriting on behalf of Lloyds of London for accident and health products; insurance brokering for private and business needs; and advice for insurance professionals in the specialised areas of accident and health and London Market placement.
