The Fitzroy Football Club (Incorporating the Fitzroy Reds) is seeking expressions of interest for new Directors for election at the 133^rd annual general meeting at 2pm on Sunday 26 November in the community rooms at Brunswick Street Oval.

There are a number of Board vacancies and the club is particularly looking for people with the following mix of skills:

• Sponsorship and income generation
• Engaging our community and developing partnerships to achieve a sustainable financial future
• Membership
• Event management and
• Professional communication.

These are full operational board roles which incorporate governance requirements (Fitzroy has a company structure), attendance at monthly meetings and significant work to run the portfolio. We are looking with people with the appropriate experience or skills and a willingness to roll their sleeves up and get involved. Please note only club members are eligible to nominate.

Paperwork needs to be lodged by Saturday 4 November.

The Board has nominated seven people for induction to life membership, which will be voted on at the AGM. The nominees are:

• Richard Willingham 13 years as a player and coach
• Ross Borland 10 years as a player
• Jack Atkinson 10 years as a player
• Rory Angiolella 10 years as a player
• Kerry Winchester 10 years running the canteen and player meals
• Grant Hammond 3 years as Uni Reds Coach and 7 years as Director
• Sam Baker 10 years as a player.

All members are welcome to come along to the AGM and hear about the clubs results for the year.
