September is here and four Fitzroy sides have a shot at the ultimate footy glory, with the club eyeing off a return to Premier B in 2027.

The Thirds Mens Reds begin the big dance this Saturday morning in the Thirds Division 2 Grand Final against Old Melburnians.

It's been a marvellous year, topped off with a barnstorming victory against ladder leaders Uni Blacks in the first final. 

The game is at Marcellin College at 920am and kicks off a Fitzroy finals triple header.

The Reserves Mens recorded a perfect 18-0 season in Premier C Reserves and take on St Bedes/Mentone at 12pm at Marcellin for a place in the Grand Final.

The Seniors Mens dropped just one game in the home and season, finishing on top. They have a 2:20pm showdown against Parkdale who lost just two games for the year. 

The winner advances to the Grand Final and Premier B in 2027, the loser gets a second chance.

Entry to Marcellin on Saturday is $17 or $12 concession. Kids under 12 are free.

On Sunday the second-placed Reserves Women take on Caulfield Grammarians, also for a spot in the Grand Final. Both teams had a 12-2 winning record for the year, and it presents an amazing opportunity for our women to go all the way. 

The game is at Carey Sports Complex at 11:40am on Sunday. Entry is $12 or $7 concession. Kids under 12 go free.
