Fitzroy is calling for applications for a suitably qualified and passionate coach to take on the Senior Coaching role with our Fitzroy-ACU Womens team, which contested the Victorian Womens Football League (VWFL) Division 3 grand final in 2016.
In what is a very exciting time with expanding opportunities for women in football, Fitzroy is looking to consolidate and potentially expand its involvement in womens football, having established two womens teams in the last two seasons. The womens playing squad is very committed to learning and taking their football to the next level. The Senior Womens coach would work very closely with the Fitzroy-ACU Womens 2 coach, as well as the mens coaching group.
Fitzroy is also seeking the services of a Senior Assistant Coach for the Senior Mens team in the Victorian Amateur Football Associations (VAFA) Premier B competition.
The Senior Assistant would work alongside recently appointed Senior Coach, Nick Mitchell, as the club strives for finals and elevation to the Premier Division in the VAFA competition.
To round out the clubs coaching group, we are also looking for a coach for the Fitzroy Thirds team.
2017 will be our sixth season of Thirds football and were seeking someone who is able to work with the coaching group to help develop our young list as well as provide an enjoyable and competitive environment for our Thirds' players.
