Dear Fitzroy Family,
The Fitzroy Football Club wishes to advise our community that in light of ongoing developments of the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Victorian Amateur Football Association has confirmed that it has postponed the 2020 season until May 2 at the earliest.

As it stands right now, all club practice matches, formal training sessions and events have been suspended until further notice.
This means the Season Launch on March 28 and Opening Round Lunch have also been cancelled.
We know that these times are uncertain and we will continue to communicate more information as it comes to hand about how we continue to respond to the impacts of the coronavirus.
We know our football club has a great community and it brings us all together. It is going to be a hard time ahead knowing that we can't go to the footy and catch up while we are being encouraged to keep our social distance. We will keep all our regular communications going to keep everyone as connected and engaged with our club as possible during this time.
